My freind is making an rpg game anddd we need sprites, like soon, it's the only thing left, he's about done programming, now we need sprites.
So who wants to lend a hand?
We need somone to do various abckgrounds we describe. We need somone to sprite the charcters, in 4 directions, basically we want the sptires to look like mugen type sprites, (Not a mugen-tard here no worries) At no time in the game cna the characters go to THIS kind of chibi: http://randomracket.com/images/ff1-sprite.gif

Nope we need this kind: http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs32/f/2008/216/a/4/Genesis___Wing_Sprite_by_Lioneh.gif

But we need the characters to face, up, left, right, and down. the game will kind of have an overveiw.

Wing #45 was suppose to have a Star Trek type look to it. Anyways, I may make another wing later, but right now I am going to spend some time designing the GUI for one of my games.

There you go! All the ships' sizes have been enlarged.

I'm getting a lot of the ship sprites done by Staggasaurarts now (Hello if you're reading this!), but I'm still giving points (see member page) to anyone who provides a contribution to the game.

I think that last wing looks like the front end of a steam ship… Maybe It's just me…

I like the third wing… Makes me think that wing would be a race-specific thing where all their ships are gold… Some ancient spacefarers or something? I often come up with styles for specific races in my space games.

I think wing #45 looks odd. Not bad, but odd.

lol, it does look like a razor doesnt it. That was supposed to be an engine by the way.

Ok, well, if you sprited a person with a purple(can be any color though)background the purple would be invisible in the game. You also cant use that shade of purple for anything that you dont want to be transparent. :)

well… I sorta got a question. For spriting, is there a certain color that is negated (invisible) in game? like if i spritied a person with purple background, will that show up? or, do i don't need to care for color?

Well…I guess I'm the new guy now. I'm really looking forward to working on my own project with Game maker 7. I've done sprites before, and a friend who uses Game maker 7 got me into getting the program ^_^. I really want to work on a turn based RPG game, sorta like Final Fantasy. I'm good with spriting, just horrible with Programming. -_-"
